Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of innovation, information and communication technologies (ICT) and digital transformation on the performance of MSMEs in six Latin American countries. Theoretical Framework: The resource-based view is the main theoretical approach that allows us to explain the performance of companies based on the set of dynamic capabilities of companies, such as innovation and digital transformation. Method: A regression analysis was performed with a sample of 11,456 MSMEs from six Latin American countries belonging primarily to the manufacturing industry, commerce and services. The data was collected through a survey directed at owners and/or directors of the companies, administered electronically, in person, and by phone. Results and Discussion: The results show that innovation in products, processes and at the organizational level influences the overall performance of Latin American MSMEs. The use of ICT in marketing processes has a positive impact on the overall performance and financial results of the company. MSMEs that train personnel for the digital transformation process have a greater capacity to develop competitive advantages. Research Implications: It is important that managers initiate a gradual change process focused on the digital transformation of the organization's internal processes to become more productive, make more informed and customer-focused decisions. Originality/Value: The study provide evidence, from the reality of Latin American MSMEs, on the impact on the performance of innovation, ICT, and digital transformation. The findings enrich and complement existing models, originally conceived in the contexts of developed countries.
