All praise is due to Allah، and may peace and blessings be upon His Prophet and Chosen One، our Master Muhammad، and upon his family and companions. This study addresses a serious phenomenon that has afflicted people in the contemporary era as a result of the wide availability of entertainment، amusement، and distracting means that have transformed the night for many into daytime. As a result، they spend most of the night awake and sleep very little، thereby losing the benefits once attained by the people of faith and the righteous predecessors of the Muslim community. Since most people now squander their nights in pursuits devoid of spiritual value، this research seeks to clarify the impact of staying up late on an individual’s religious commitment and physical health. It highlights both the religious and medical harms associated with this practice، as well as the consequent negative effects that extend beyond the individual، including its impact on work performance، productivity، and social life. The study also proposes several practical methods through which individuals may discipline themselves to overcome the habit of staying up late and avoid its harmful consequences. The paper concludes with a summary and the most significant findings.May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad، his family، and his companions.
