This analytical study examines the impact of income and lifestyle factors on credit card usage among working people in Coimbatore City. With the rapid growth of digital transactions and increasing disposable income among urban professionals, credit cards have become an essential financial tool. The study aims to analyze how income levels, lifestyle preferences, and demographic variables influence credit card ownership, spending patterns, and repayment behavior. Primary data was collected from 50 respondents through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using statistical tools such as percentage analysis, chi-square test, and ANOVA. The findings reveal that while credit card usage is widespread among young and middle-income professionals, income and lifestyle factors do not show statistically significant differences in influencing usage patterns. The study concludes that responsible usage and financial awareness are more critical than income level in determining credit card behavior.
