Evidence from randomized clinical trials generally does not support use of cannabis or cannabinoids for most medical conditions, a review based on 124 studies has concluded. Authors of the review advise clinicians to discuss safety‐related measures with patients who use cannabis or cannabinoids for medical reasons, including warning them against concurrent use of cannabis with alcohol or benzodiazepines.
