Digital literacy is increasingly recognised as a critical skill for employment in the modern economy, particularly among Nigerian youth who are at an age where they transition from education to the workforce. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data on participants' digital skills, programme engagement, and subsequent job prospects. Quantitative analysis revealed that participants who completed digital literacy courses had a 25% higher likelihood of securing employment compared to those who did not participate in such programmes. Qualitative insights highlighted the importance of tailored training for specific industries. Digital literacy programmes significantly enhance youth employability by equipping them with essential skills and connecting them with potential employers. Further research is needed to optimise programme design and scale up impact. Governments, educational institutions, and private sector partners should invest in digital literacy initiatives tailored to local needs and supported by ongoing training opportunities.
