The Virtual Mouse Using Hand Gesture Recognition system is a computer vision-based application that allows users to control the computer cursor using hand gestures instead of a physical mouse. The system uses a webcam to capture real-time hand movements and detects gestures using MediaPipe and OpenCV. The detected gestures are converted into mouse actions such as cursor movement, clicking, and scrolling. The aim of this project is to provide a touchless human-computer interaction system that improves accessibility and usability. This project demonstrates how computer vision technology can be used to create innovative input devices for modern computing environments.
