Abstract

The article is devoted to the urgent modern problem of monitoring agrolandscapes in the agricultural land use system. The condition of agricultural lands and the dynamics of the development of various degradation processes is a serious threat to agricultural production. The article presents the results of monitoring studies of degradation processes in the arid zone of the Stavropol Territory. Based on the results of land monitoring, the classification of agrolandscapes according to their suitability for agricultural use was carried out. There is an intensification of various negative processes, such as water erosion, deflation, their combined manifestation, as well as salinization. These processes are influenced by both natural factors and anthropogenic activities.
