Sustainable Development Law in Senegal examines how legal frameworks address environmental conservation and social equity. A qualitative approach is employed to review existing laws and policies, supplemented by interviews with stakeholders. Findings indicate a significant proportion (80%) of legal texts focus on environmental protection rather than social equity, necessitating balanced policy reforms. The current legislative framework in Senegal needs reinforcement to ensure both environmental sustainability and equitable development for all citizens. Recommendation 1: Integrate more comprehensive social equity measures into existing laws. Recommendation 2: Increase public awareness of sustainable practices through education campaigns.
