European Radiation Protection Week (ERPW) is now an established feature in the calendar of events for those engaged in radiation protection research. The first such event was hosted at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford, UK in 2016 with Public Health England (now the UK Health Security Agency) being the lead organiser (Bouffler, 2017). In its ninth year, ERPW 2025 returned to the UK to be hosted in London, 29 September - 2 October 2025, with the UK Health Security Agency leading the organisation with Imperial College London's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Hosted at the Cumberland Hotel in London's West End, close to Marble Arch, the meeting brought together a diverse and engaging programme spanning all areas of radiation protection research covered by the European Platforms that are federated under the MEENAS umbrella organisation (https://www.meenas.eu/): MELODI, EURADOS, EURAMED, NERIS, ALLIANCE and SHARE . As has become common, the first day consisted of a range of satellite meetings (nine in total through the event) and this was followed by the main programme over three days. The meeting format consisted of a mix of Plenary sessions, concurrent Parallel sessions and Poster presentations, plus a trade exhibition. This short article provides a summary of the core three-day event.
