Key Points

  • The study aims to systematically test the predicted structural isomorphism of sub-limit dynamics across different physical domains.
  • Mapped four physical domains onto a two-dimensional atlas using domain-specific transducers.
  • Utilized anchor points derived from existing literature to predict regime classifications.
  • Conducted a robustness analysis of the classifications within the formulated regimes.
  • Achieved perfect classification accuracy with 20 out of 20 scenarios fitting established domain regimes.
  • Confirmed that 50% of classifications are significantly within their respective regimes.
  • Found that boundary cases align with systems operating near phase transitions.

Abstract

This paper provides the first systematic experimental test of the cross-domain structural isomorphism predicted by sub-limit dynamics (Lugli, 2026). Four physical domains — wildfire propagation, Belousov–Zhabotinsky chemical oscillation, vehicular traffic flow, and Rayleigh–Bénard thermal convection — are mapped onto a pre-constructed two-dimensional atlas via domain-specific transducers calibrated to known physical transitions. Each transducer uses two anchor points per formula drawn from the domain's published literature; the remaining scenarios are genuine predictions. Twenty scenarios produce 20/20 regime classifications consistent with established domain regimes (FORM, DIFF, MULTI, SAT). Each regime is populated by at least two independent physical domains. A robustness analysis shows that 50% of classifications are deep within their regime, and the three boundary cases correspond to systems documented as operating near phase transitions. Each domain traces a characteristic manifold in the atlas, and the two atlas coordinates admit a physical interpretation as dimensionless transport ratios (diffusive and rotational Péclet numbers). The classification instrument (the Ω-field simulator), the transducer method, and all runner scripts are available for independent verification and extension to additional domains. Part of the Constrained Generative Systems (CGS) research program. Eighth paper in the C-series (theoretical/arithmetic).
