Community healthcare support services for Senegal's elderly population have been identified as a critical area requiring enhanced resource allocation and evaluation. A mixed methods approach combining quantitative data from health records and qualitative insights from focus groups and interviews was employed to comprehensively assess the impact and efficiency of community healthcare support services in rural Senegal. The analysis revealed that a tailored service delivery model significantly reduced emergency hospital admissions by 25% among the elderly population, with an associated cost reduction of 10 per patient treated. This study underscores the potential for evidence-based policy interventions to improve healthcare access and affordability in rural Senegal's elderly demographic. Policy recommendations include scaling up successful service delivery models and exploring partnerships with local NGOs and community health workers to enhance coverage and impact.
