ECR Spotlight is a series of interviews with early-career authors from a selection of papers published in Journal of Experimental Biology and aims to promote not only the diversity of early-career researchers (ECRs) working in experimental biology but also the huge variety of animals and physiological systems that are essential for the ‘comparative’ approach. Isidora Camus is an author on ‘ Co-regulated plasticity between limits to energy budget in Dromiciops gliroides: a model for ancestral endothermy’, published in JEB. Isidora is a Research Assistant in the lab of Roberto Nespolo at The Institute of Environmental and Evolutionary Sciences (ICAEV), Austral University of Chile, investigating how ecological and physiological processes shape the spatial behaviour and persistence of small mammals in temperate South American forests.
