Burundi is a predominantly agricultural nation where indigenous knowledge systems play a significant role in business practices. The study employed qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews with key informants from various sectors of the economy. Indigenous knowledge systems are particularly prevalent in rural areas where they guide agricultural practices, leading to higher yields and improved livelihoods among farmers.
