Abstract

This paper presents the Smart College Knowledge Assistant (SCKA), an AI-powered chatbot designed to simplify campus information retrieval. By integrating Natural Language Processing, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and centralized knowledge storage, SCKA provides instant, personalized answers to student and faculty queries. Tested with over 300 queries, the system achieved 93% accuracy and reduced repetitive administrative workload by 70%. A user survey confirmed 88% satisfaction, highlighting its potential to enhance student engagement and streamline institutional communication. With modular architecture, SCKA is scalable for integration into ERP systems, multilingual support, and voice-based assistants.
