We seek through our research tagged (Simulation in Iraqi criminal law) to show the formality in the Iraqi criminal law in both its substantive and procedural parts، and the consequent result that is that the formality is one of the most important topics of the criminal law that has not been dealt with in the form of legal research، as the general law is devoid of A general theory of sham in contrast to private law. The legislator put the theory of sham and defined its subject، conditions and forms and allowed to challenge it. The criminal law contains references to the issue of sham in many cases that can be discerned through the legal text that imperfectly simulates reality without taking into account the truth or the crooked implementation of the text. the law with the knowledge of this with the intention of harming others. All this through analyzing the texts of the law by adopting the analytical approach، and exposure to some practical applications that are a manifestation of sham in criminal law.
