Pan-Africanism has been a significant concept in African studies for decades, emphasising unity among African nations and peoples. Egypt, as a pivotal nation within the continent, has historically played a crucial role in Pan-Africanist movements. The study employs qualitative research methods, including literature review and interviews with policymakers, scholars, and practitioners involved in Pan-Africanist initiatives. These insights provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state of Pan-Africanism in Egypt. Egypt faces significant challenges such as economic disparities between regions and varying levels of political engagement among different ethnic groups, which hinder its ability to fully embrace Pan-African ideals. Despite these challenges, there is a growing interest in Pan-Africanism within Egyptian society. The findings suggest that targeted policy interventions could enhance unity by addressing regional inequalities and promoting inclusive economic development strategies. The government should prioritise equitable resource distribution across Egypt's regions to foster national cohesion. Additionally, educational programmes should be developed to promote Pan-African values among young Egyptians.
