Urban primary care networks in Ghana are pivotal for addressing healthcare disparities in urban areas. A systematic literature review employing a panel-data estimation approach was conducted to analyse the effectiveness of primary care networks on clinical outcomes, focusing on urban settings in Ghana. Panel data analysis revealed that incorporating community health workers into care delivery improved patient adherence rates by an average of 20% over one year. The review highlights the importance of integrating diverse healthcare resources to enhance primary care effectiveness and recommends further research on scalability and cost-effectiveness. Policy makers should consider policies that incentivize the use of community health workers in urban primary care networks to improve clinical outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
