Single Photon Emitters In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202526312), Piotr Tatarczak, Andrzej Wysmolek, and co-workers show that bubbles in MOVPE-grown hBN can be deterministically created using electron irradiation and a mask-based approach. These bubbles can be exploited to enhance defect-related single-photon emission and enable facile relocation of individual defects. This novel strategy avoids material transfer and is therefore compatible with large-area epitaxial materials.
