Aim: This study aimed to evaluate Code Blue activations at the Faculty of Dentistry, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, between January 2022 and April 2025, focusing on the distribution and frequency of clinical emergencies requiring urgent intervention.Material and Methods: This retrospective descriptive study was performed on 222 patients with recorded Code Blue calls. Data were collected using Code Blue incident forms and evaluated based on patient age, sex, clinical unit, reason for code activation, timing (preoperative/postoperative), and post-intervention outcomes. Frequency and percentage were used as descriptive statistics. Bivariate categorical variables were evaluated using Chi-square test. A P 0.05).Conclusions: Although Code Blue activations were observed at numerically higher rates among female patients and during the preoperative period in dental clinics, these differences were not statistically significant. Nevertheless, thorough preprocedural medical assessment and appropriate psychological preparation are considered clinically important for the early recognition of potential medical emergencies and for supporting patient safety during dental procedures.
