Acquired jejunoileal diverticula can rarely present with significant, life-threatening lower gastrointestinal bleeding without prior clinical manifestations.Endoscopic evaluation may be challenging because the presence of intraluminal blood and the small-intestinal location can limit visualization, thereby hindering accurate diagnosis and management.Computed tomography angiography (CTA) is a rapid and accurate modality for delineating the bleeding source and should therefore be utilized promptly.We describe a case of jejunal diverticulum presenting with severe lower gastrointestinal bleeding in which CTA revealed an active bleeding source.The patient was successfully treated with life-saving emergency endovascular coil embolization, followed by an uneventful post-procedure recovery.This case underscores the importance of prompt diagnosis and targeted endovascular embolization, particularly in patients at high surgical risk.
