Radiographic interpretation and reporting is a daily task within the dental profession, and being able to read radiographic imaging accurately is crucial for optimal patient care. Maintenance of clinical monitors used to view radiological imaging should therefore be included in quality assurance processes to maintain clinical standards; this article discusses simple and inexpensive methods to assess and optimize monitors.
