This study examines the financial health of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited, a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in India. The analysis is based on secondary data collected from the company’s annual reports and financial statements for the period 2021 to 2025. The study applies the Altman Z-Score model to evaluate the company’s financial performance by combining key financial ratios related to liquidity, profitability, leverage, and operational efficiency. Ratios such as Working Capital to Total Assets, Net Profit to Sales, EBIT to Total Assets, Equity to Debt, and Sales to Total Assets have been analyzed. The results indicate steady growth in assets, sales, and profitability over the study period, with moderate variations in financial performance. The findings suggest that the company maintains a stable financial position, though continuous monitoring is required to sustain long-term financial strength. This study provides useful insights for students, researchers, and financial analysts in understanding the application of financial ratio analysis and financial health evaluation using the Altman Z-Score model.
