Lemierre's syndrome (LS) is a rare, life-threatening complication of an acute oropharyngeal infection.Here, a rare case of LS due to influenza A(H3N2) infection characterized by venous thrombosis of the jugular vein, concomitant lymphocytic encephalitis and uveitis was described.Moreover, we compared this case with other literature-reported cases with complications due to Lemierre's syndrome.
