This study examined the impact of inconsistent execution of sustainable development projects in Barangay 175, focusing on residents’ awareness, experiences, and perceived effects on the community. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through interviews with selected residents to gather in-depth insights regarding the implementation of barangay programs. The findings revealed that many residents have limited awareness of sustainable development projects, often due to lack of visibility and communication from barangay officials. While some initiatives such as educational assistance, environmental programs, and infrastructure projects were identified, these were frequently described as delayed, rescheduled, or inconsistently implemented. Furthermore, the inconsistent execution of projects resulted in several challenges within the community, including poor waste management, flooding risks, inadequate infrastructure, transportation difficulties, and disturbances caused by ongoing or incomplete construction. Although some residents expressed indifference toward these issues, others highlighted their negative effects on daily living conditions, safety, and overall quality of life. The study concludes that inconsistent project implementation not only limits public awareness and trust in barangay governance but also hinders the effectiveness of sustainable development efforts. It is recommended that the barangay improve project planning, strengthen communication and transparency, ensure continuity of programs, and actively engage the community to achieve more effective and sustainable development outcomes.
