Abstract Being a rare genetic disorder, Costello syndrome (CS) patients are a challenge for the anaesthesiologists in terms of familiarity, understanding of the manifestations caused by the mutation in Harvey rat sarcoma (HRAS) viral oncogene homolog. Anaesthetic management in patients with CS presents unique challenges due to multisystem involvement, craniofacial abnormalities, airway management and perioperative cardiorespiratory complications. Our case report elaborates the anaesthetic challenges in a child with CS undergoing laparoscopic orchidopexy.
