Objective:To evaluate the effects of early mobilization on functional capacity, intensive care unit (ICU) length of stay, and hospital length of stay in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Methods:This systematic review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines. A comprehensive search was performed in PubMed, LILACS, and Cochrane databases. Randomized and controlled clinical trials involving early mobilization interventions in CABG patients were included. Results:Three studies (n = 288) met the inclusion criteria. Early mobilization demonstrated clinically relevant improvements in functional capacity and hospital length of stay. However, statistical significance was inconsistent, and heterogeneity among studies was considerable. Conclusion:Early mobilization appears to be a safe and promising intervention in postoperative cardiac rehabilitation. Nevertheless, current evidence remains limited and heterogeneous, and findings should be interpreted with caution. Further high-quality studies are needed.
