This work presents a unified mathematical framework for blackbody radiation based on a generalized inverse Gaussian (GIG) energy kernel. By enforcing an energy-unification condition across Planck, de Broglie, and relativistic energy expressions, the mass parameter is eliminated, yielding a purely thermodynamic spectral kernel. The framework naturally recovers Planck’s law as a special case and provides a parametric family of generalized blackbody spectra applicable to ideal and non-ideal radiators.
