Treatment providers should be more aggressive with insurance companies, Rob Kent, a lawyer and former general counsel for the New York Office of Addiction Services and Support (OASAS), told attendees at the Integrated Care conference sponsored by Helio Health last week. Kent, whose firm represents many providers, said that only by being proactive can treatment providers get what they are owed.
