Within this article, we outline the importance of post-diagnostic support following a late life diagnosis of autism. We provide a 6-session case example to illustrate the evolving post-diagnostic support package within our NHS trust. We conclude with recommendations for other clinicians when providing post-diagnostic support for people diagnosed as autistic in later life.
