Globalization continues to redefine governance and policymaking across the developing world. It has influenced trade, technology, education, health systems, and governance models, pushing nations toward interconnected and competitive economies. Since 2020, global dynamics such as the COVID-19 pandemic, climate emergencies, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence (AI) have accelerated public policy reforms. This paper examines the evolving relationship between globalization and policy reform in developing countries. It explores how global integration drives economic, social, and governance changes; highlights challenges including inequality, the digital divide, and environmental sustainability; and proposes inclusive strategies for reform. Drawing from examples across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, this study underscores how globalization if guided by equitable policy frameworks can become a force for sustainable and inclusive development.
