Abstract

Archaeological monitoring was required in association with a proposed sewage main at Pegswood, Northumberland. Pre-Construct Archaeology was commissioned by Northumbrian Water to monitor and record six trial pits (TP07 - TP12) in the area south of the A197, centred at National Grid Reference NZ 23421 86401. No deposits or artefacts of archaeological or geoarchaeological significance were identified during the archaeological monitoring.
