Abstract In this article, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of a thermoelastic piezoelectric beam model with magnetic effects, where thermal conduction is described by the Lord–Shulman thermoelastic theory, which incorporates finite heat propagation through a thermal relaxation time. We prove the well-posedness of the system and, using multiplier techniques to construct a suitable Lyapunov functional, we establish the exponential decay of the system’s energy, regardless of the values of the physical parameters considered.
