This record contains a presentation prepared for the 9th International Scientific Conference on IT, Tourism, Economics, Management and Agriculture (ITEMA 2025). The Czech economy is facing significant changes that manifest across multiple dimensions—political, social, economic, and technological. The methodological framework of this contribution is based on their mutual interdependence and conditionality, while emphasizing production and technological changes as the core drivers of the process. The presentation examines the impacts of the European concept of “clean industrial technologies” on the functioning of the Czech economic system. Its primary objective is to identify the opportunities and barriers that will shape the decision-making of Czech economic actors under current development trends. Particular attention is devoted to processes related to the state of the European Union and to the effort to identify a “Czech variant” of solutions, i.e., an optimization reflecting the specific characteristics of the Czech economy.
