Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction across global education systems, including Uzbekistan, where ongoing reforms emphasize digital transformation and improved foreign language competence. This paper explores the integration of AI technologies in Uzbek EFL classrooms, considering socio-economic, infrastructural, and pedagogical conditions. The analysis suggests that AI can strengthen learner autonomy, improve language outcomes, and increase teaching efficiency when aligned with national education policies and contextual needs. At the same time, challenges such as limited infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and digital inequality remain significant barriers.
