Abstract Introduction Sleep quality is affected in patients with post-ICU syndrome. This is mainly due to anxiety and chronic weakness in the post-ICU phase. We aim to study the sleep patterns in post-ICU patients. Aim and objective 1. To study the sleep patterns in post ICU patients 2. To study the quality of life in post ICU patients Methodology Sample size: 50Inclusive criteria:1. Patients aged 18 years and above 2. Patients discharged from ICU in last 1 month3. Patients willing to follow up in OPD 4. Patients consenting for the study Exclusion criteria:1. Patients unable to consent 2. Patients with active PTB and on ATT3. Patients with recent episodes of MI in past 3 months 4. Patients with recent history of CVA and unable to follow commands Methodology Patients fulfilling the inclusion criteria were recruited in the study. A detailed history of the patient was taken. ESS was calculated. Those with ESS more than 10 were posted for PSG. Quality of life was accessed using likert scale. Results 1. Our study population was male predominant with 70% males and 30% females 2. Most common age group in our study population was 55+/-5 (p 0.01)3. 30 patients in our study population were having ESS more than 10 and posted for PSG a. 20 out of 30 had mild OSA b. 6 had modate OSA c. 4 had severe OSA 4. Patients with moderate and severe OSA were subjected to CPAP titration and CPAP was advised.5. Lifestyle modification was advertised in all the study subjects along with pulmonary rehabilitation 6. Quality of life was moderate in all the study subjects as measured by likert scale 7. 2 patients lost the follow up during the study. Conclusion Sleep breathing disorders should always be studied in post ICU patients. This abstract is funded by: SELF-FUNDED
