ABSTRACT: The Migration Scroll — A Blessing for the Salmon's Life is a modern prose poem tracing the complete life journey of salmon in paris: hatching in the headwaters of their mother river, journeying downstream through yellow silt, waterfalls, fishermen's nets, and predatory jaws, reaching the open ocean to grow and age, and finally returning upstream to spawn and die at the source. Structured in five movements — "Origins," "Trials," "Arrival," "Return," and "Blessing" — the poem uses scientific observation as its framework and literary imagination as its flesh, transforming the salmon's migration into an epic of memory, homecoming, and completion.
