The article deals with the key goals, objectives, and possible directions of the public procurement organization enhancement in order to provide qualitative and timely digitization of the public governance. There are highlighted the main problems in the Russian organization of the public procurement planning and conducting which negatively affect the quality of procuring digital products and the efficiency of the budget spending. The possible ways to solve the problems are suggested.
