The 152nd MPEG meeting took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from October 7 to October 11, 2025. The official MPEG press release can be found here. This column highlights key points from the meeting, amended with research aspects relevant to the ACM SIGMM community: • MPEG Systems received an Emmy® Award for the Common Media Application Format (CMAF).
