Mechanistically, ASA-ALN-CDs inhibited the HIF-1α signaling pathway and downregulated LDHA and VEGF. Collectively, ASA-ALN-CDs represent a promising bone-targeting nanoplatform integrating antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and pro-osteogenic functions for periodontitis therapy.
