This essay proposes the lemniscate, or figure-eight curve, as a theological and philosophical model for reflecting on time, eternity, recurrence, and divine presence. Rather than challenging scientific or philosophical accounts of temporality, the model functions as a heuristic framework through which recurring patterns, sacramental participation, prophetic foreknowledge, divine providence, and eschatological fulfillment may be contemplated. Central to the proposal is the crossing point, where temporal succession and eternal presence coincide, offering a geometric vocabulary for thinking about access between created time and the eternal.
