This study examines the Mukonoso Residential Area in Amagasaki, developed by Hankyu Railway in 1937. It clarifies land ownership, building construction, and residency patterns during the early development stage, highlighting the diversity of the area. Findings show that multiple land ownership, leased land, rental housing, and the coexistence of neighboring residences created a distinctive residential diversity, differing from the typical model of one household occupying a single residence on a single plot.
