We introduce a new scalar notation for differentiation, based on the classical lambda symbol (Λ). Unlike its traditional use in vector calculus, this notation treats Λ as a scalar dependency operator, clearly denoting the variable of differentiation and the function under consideration. The notation improves readability, simplifies higher-order and partial derivatives, and provides a unified representation of standard differentiation rules. Several illustrative examples demonstrate its utility.
