Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in forensic activities. It examines the legal foundations for digitizing the forensic field and introducing AI technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan, based on the normative legal acts adopted in recent years, particularly the President's Resolution No. PQ-270 of September 8, 2025. Additionally, the experience of foreign countries, opinions of international experts, and the ethical and legal challenges of using AI technologies are analyzed. The article concludes with the development of scientifically based proposals and recommendations for the development of the field.
