BRA!N (Behavioral Risk Analysis for Information Networks) is an open framework for analyzing human risk in cybersecurity. It provides a structured model to identify, name, and classify the behaviors, drivers, triggers, and controls that shape security-relevant human decisions in real-world contexts. This document is the v1.0 public preprint of the BRA!N Framework, it was initially presented at C1b3rWall 2026 (Spain). The Spanish editorial version and the STIX 2.1 bundle are available at https://github.com/vanermi-labs/brain-framework.
