Abstract

The application of distribution system static synchronous compensators (D-STATCOMs) are examined for distribution voltage regulation. In particular, the concern of voltage regulation on long, voltage-limited feeders is considered and the D-STATCOM is shown to be a cost-effective means of resolving it.
