Public relations is a tool to create a positive image among the people. Society needs a catalyst to become aware of the social welfare scheme and take advantage of benefits from the central, state, and other nongovernment sectors. The present study deals with people’s thoughts on public welfare schemes and the role of public relations in disseminating information to improve people’s lives. The researcher did descriptive research with the help of a survey. People grow less satisfied with PR specialists' mass media for pushing development ideas as they learn more. Public relations makes literate and educated adolescents more aware of public welfare schemes than adults and older respondents.
