This document is a report on the intensive archaeological surface survey performed on the project area for the proposed improvements at the existing AN/TPQ-18 Radar Facility site on Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). The survey area consisted of a 40-acre block delineated by VAFB archaeologist. The survey was performed by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) archaeologists, and they did not find any prehistoric cultural materials or any other potentially significant cultural resources. It is expected that implementation of the proposed project would have no effect on cultural resources.
