Abstract Holistic Information Theory (HIT) positions information as the fundamental basis of the universe. Energy, matter, space, time, consciousness and evolution emerge from information. The world formula i = E (information = energy) and its extension i = E = MC² describe space, time, gravity, energy and matter as condensed information and form the basis of a consistent world theory. HIT integrates quantum mechanics (QM), general relativity (GR) and the standard model of particle physics (SM) into a unified structure and resolves central paradoxes such as the measurement problem, non-locality, the black hole information paradox and cosmological contradictions of the Big Bang model. Numerous experiments – double-slit, quantum eraser, Bell tests, the discovery of the Higgs boson, gravitational waves and James Webb data – confirm that reality is a manifestation of information. The theory has far-reaching philosophical and societal implications. It includes a dogma decay law (DDL) that describes the half-life of rigid ideologies, as well as the concept of direct democracy based on cosmic information principles. It also opens up new perspectives in medicine and biology, for example through information-based cell rejuvenation and epigenetic control. Thus, GIT is not just a theoretical model, but an empirically supported, interdisciplinary world theory with the potential for a Second Enlightenment that unites science, art, medicine and society in a universal information base.
