The BRYOMOLECULES project (Task 3.1) committed in the Description of Action to sequencing atleast 90 bryophyte transcriptomes and reported detailed information about the raw reads in alocal repository (accessible for project review purposes only). This deliverable reports the full attainment of the goal by the expected deadline. The raw reads,in addition to have been uploaded in the local project repository, were also submitted to the NCBIdatabase, to guarantee data preservation and full accessibility according to F.A.I.R. principles. As the funds allocated to the task were sufficient for additional sequencing due to a decrease inthe cost of RNA-Seq per GB, we sequenced 24 additional libraries, thus exceeding the expectedresults of 90 transcriptomes. A total of 114 RNA-Seq libraries were, therefore, generated from 102unique biosamples, representing 44 moss and 40 liverwort taxa. Of the 102 biosamples, 90 weresequenced as a single library and 12 were re-sequenced as two libraries each. Approximately 8billion raw read pairs (median 77.2 million read pairs per biosample) were obtained. The completeinventory of BioSample accessions and library identifiers is reported in Annex I. This deliverablefulfils milestone MS3, Raw RNA-Seq data deposition in ENA/NCBI database (M13, Task 3.1). Do you want to know more about BRYOMOLECULES?
