Abstract

Five cases of embryonal carcinoma of the testis with entirely mature teratomatous metastases are presented. Only two other cases have been reported previously. These cases appear to run a prolonged clinical course compared with the usual embryonal carcinomas. It is important that the teratoid elements be recognized as malignant in spite of their benign histologic appearance.
